Minimal Systems

Simple arrangements in a reduced geometric language.

This experiment continues an on-going line of enquiry in generating compositions - setting conditions and observing what emerges. Previous experiments explored this through particle systems and procedural noise. The most compelling outcomes are selected and developed further, informing subsequent works.

In this case, I was curious to see whether AI could produce pleasingly balanced arrangements. The results were unexpectedly satisfying - compositions that feel considered

The sense of random orderliness I’m looking for is well-maintained by this process. These configurations, produced on request by AI, still carry a subtle unpredictability - somewhere between intention and emergence.
