Geometric Relations

Balance emerging through the arrangement of simple geometric elements.

This series explores the arrangement of lines and circles within a shared space, seeking balance through alignment, overlap, and proportion.

Following earlier experiments with Random Order, I was interested in how a similar sense of emergence might operate within a more reduced, geometric language. Using AI as a tool, compositions were generated through instruction rather than direct construction.

What emerges feels both precise and uncertain—relationships that appear intentional, yet retain a subtle unpredictability. For me, the sense of randomness is heightened by this process: these configurations are produced on request, rather than found.

The work exists in this tension, where control is delegated and balance is discovered through a system that sits just outside direct authorship.
