Minimal Systems
Simple arrangements in a reduced geometric language.
This experiment continues an ongoing enquiry into generated composition — setting conditions and observing what emerges. Earlier works explored this through particle systems and procedural noise, where the most compelling outcomes were selected, refined, and allowed to inform subsequent works.
Here, configurations are generated through a dialogue with AI. Rather than designing fixed arrangements, the process involves establishing a framework and observing the variations that appear.
The results are unexpectedly resolved — balanced compositions that retain a subtle unpredictability. Repetition, interruption and variation create structures that feel intentional, while remaining partially outside direct control.
A sense of random order is maintained: somewhere between intention and emergence.
